We’re proud to announce Panther Camp is remaining at the beautiful campus of Lake Forest Academy. We are celebrating our 27th year of camp this summer with the same quality you’ve come to expect and continuing the much loved and appreciated activities offered by our camp program.

We will continue to have qualified teachers with your children wherever they go on campus. We will also continue to offer your children choices in their daily schedule, so summer can be fun and instructional as well. Continuing at Lake Forest Academy, we offer exciting and educational activities to the campers’ day.

We have seen through the years many more younger children able to enjoy a longer day than our former Cub Camp. We offer an all day program with age appropriate activities for three, four and five year olds. The ratio of teachers to campers through seven years old is four campers to one supervisor, and we remain at eight campers to one supervisor for our eight through twelve year olds.
Our teachers and their great experience are the difference between us and other camp programs. Teachers are in charge of all age groups and run the schedule and programs. High school and college age students help supervise (many of whom attended Panther Camp as youngsters) but are never in charge of schedule or program. Teachers are always in charge. We are very proud of our teachers at Panther Camp.
This summer we will continue to offer programs in SWIMMING, TENNIS, AND ICE SKATING. We will offer recreational swim time on a daily basis for our 6-12 year old campers at the indoor pool at LFA. Our three, four and five year olds will swim twice a week. Private swim lessons before or after camp are also available for your children as well. We will also be offering tennis instruction on the four outdoor tennis courts. Once or twice each week the camp will have skating time at the indoor ice arena as well.

Boys and girls ages 6–12 can also enjoy a variety of age appropriate activities which include elementary games for the young and many team sports for the older campers. Games such as soccer, football, baseball, volleyball, basketball, and floor hockey are available to all campers. Each Thursday the entire camp takes a field trip including miniature golf, bowling, and a water park. The camp is Monday through Friday from 9:00 a.m. to 2:00 p.m. Extended day until 3:00p.m. is available. Campers supply their own lunch daily; the camp provides snacks. Our three day a week campers may attend camp any three days a week and change those days on a weekly basis if they desire.

Opportunities exist where students can escape the summer heat for a class period. An art class is also offered four days a week, which focuses on age appropriate art and crafts activities. There is also a wacky science/Odyssey of the Mind program that is offered at an additional cost. Any child wishing extra art or the Odyssey of the Mind experience can easily fit this into their daily schedule.
